Facilities Services Team Member (Electrical)

Maintain/repair highly complex HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing systems required to maintain Facilities Equipment, components. Work as Outage Crafts during refueling operations at a Nuclear Generating Station. These activities will include system to component level equipment, including troubleshooting, testing and inspecting in a highly skilled manner.
Minimum Requirements
Possess three (3) years working experience in one or more crafts, knowledge of and ability to adhere to APS and PVNGS standards and requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, plant drawings and diagrams. ANS 3.1(1978) qualified. High school diploma or equivalent. EEI CAST Test Administered.
Nuclear requirement: Any PVGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVGS employees.
Any PVGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage. This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.
Major Accountabilities
1) Troubleshoot, inspect and rework a variety of Electrical, HVAC, Valves, Pumps and related Plumbing equipment.
2) Perform maintenance in accordance with plant procedures and instructions.
3) Coordinate and work with other maintenance personnel and work groups to complete job assignments.
4) Document work activities as required by station work control procedures.
5) Actively work at becoming qualified to work on plant equipment and systems through on-the-job training and formal training programs.
6) Use sound radiation work practices, support the ALARA concepts, perform and direct fire watches and other safety procedures.
7) Perform other related duties as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
