Equipment Operator

TPG is seeking motivated, dependable and safe Equipment Operator to test agricultural equipment for a multinational manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment within 10 miles of Harquahala Valley.

The Equipment Operator will perform specific and repeatable operational tasks in support of the quality, reliability, and capability testing of products in proving ground test settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs pre and post trip vehicle safety inspections and reports vehicle condition.

  • Tasks may include but are not limited to operating various agriculture equipment such as 4WD Articulating Tractors Rogators, Terragators, Spray Coupes and other vehicles.

  • Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader.

  • Performs maintenance including but not limited to lubricating fittings and parts as prescribed, replacing air, hydraulic and fluid lines as needed, filling vehicle with water for dust control as applicable, trailer and implement attachment, detachment & minor mechanical work.

  • Taking fluid samples as needed at intervals dictated by Engineering test procedure.

  • Assist other team drivers whenever necessary.

  • Dependable attendance, no unauthorized absences.

  • Other duties as required by supervisor.

  • Other mechanical work as requested


Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid AZ Driver's License

  • Clean motor vehicle record with no more than 3 points

  • Be able to read, write, and speak English

Physical and Environmental Job Requirements

  • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds or more of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.

  • Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
